Kingston's A400 solid-state drive dramatically improves the responsiveness of your existing system, with faster boot, loading, and transfer times compared to a mechanical hard drive. Powered by a latest-gen controller for read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s, this SSD is up to 10x faster than a traditional hard drive for smoother multitasking and an overall faster system.
Built with Flash memory and no moving parts, it's also more reliable and durable than a hard drive, running cooler, quieter, and with better shock and vibration resistance, which makes it a solid fit for both desktops and notebooks. This 240GB model is designed for desktop and notebook workloads and is not intended for server environments.
